About the contest

We believe that the good times should be shared, so we created the Feet Up Hostels Photo Contest for you!!!

Whenever you are just walking, sightseeing, relaxing or partying every day brings a new experience! Participate of our first Photo Contest, show us your photography skills and win fantastic prizes!!!


Entry into the 2º Feet Up Photo Contest begins on April 15, 2011, and ends on October 25, 2011. The Contest consists of the phases set forth below, as described fully in the Official Rules.

Contest is open to anyone who believe has a great photo about Barcelona, Valencia and Sevilla, and also any guest that have stayed,  is staying or will stay  at any of  our hostels as listed below:

To participate you first need to log in and follow the links and instructions to complete the registration form and upload a photograph that illustrates one of the  two  themes:

1 - Cities Moments (Show us your best picture about Barcelona, Valencia or Sevilla)

2 - Hostel Moments/Feeting Up (Share the moments you have enjoyed at any of our hostels)

All entries must be submitted and received by October 25, 2011.

Judging Phase: During the Judging Phase, qualified judges determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion will select the top 50 entrants from each of the two (2) Theme categories (the "Finalists") based on the following criteria ("Judging Criteria"):

• Extent to which photo captures the essence of Theme selected (25%);
• Impact and Creativity (50%); and
• Composition, clarity and technical quality (25%)

In the case of a tie, the entrant whose photo best "captures the essence of theme selected" will be deemed the Finalist.

Voting Phase: During the Voting Phase, the hundred (100) finalist entries (50 per Theme category) will be posted at www.feetuphostelscontest.com. The Public will be invited to vote for their favorite photo in each Theme category.
Each participant may vote for only one (1) photo per Theme category during the Voting Phase.
The Finalist entry within each individual Theme category that receives the highest number of valid votes in that Theme category during the Voting Phase, as determined by Sponsor, will be the potential First Prize winner for that Theme category.

In case of a tie, the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, will select the potential winner from the tied Entries based on the Judges' analysis of the entries using the Judging Criteria.

Winners List
Winners' names will be available online at www.feetuphostelscontest.com and also at our facebook page, after December 10, 2011 following verification of all winners.
